Why we joined GoodFirms — and what it means for our clients.
AURA DIGITAL LAB is now listed on GoodFirms, the B2B ratings and reviews platform. This is a short note on why we did it, what the profile actually contains today, and what it does not.
Why third-party reviews matter
When a company buys software work, it is buying a promise about the future. References help, but they are chosen by the seller. A third-party profile is different: it is outside the seller's site, it has its own rules, and it can be checked by someone who has never spoken to us. That is the point — not the badge, the ability to verify.
We have been on the other side of this too. Choosing a vendor from a polished deck is a bad way to spend a budget, and we would rather be judged on a page we do not fully control.
What the GoodFirms profile contains
The listing carries what we can prove: the services we actually deliver (AI integration, web development, software development), the industries we have worked in, and a portfolio of projects — an AI support assistant that answers from a company's own documentation, Sparkle, our realtime chat product, and the corporate site you are reading now. Each entry links to a public page on this site, so nothing in the profile depends on our word alone.
There are no invented clients, budgets or timelines in it. Where a project is covered by confidentiality, it does not appear.
What it does not contain — yet
Reviews. A new profile starts at zero, and we are not going to seed it with testimonials from people who did not work with us. The first reviews will come from clients who choose to write them, and until then the profile is a description of capability, not proof of outcomes. We would rather say that plainly than pretend the page is more than it is.
Our journey so far
AURA DIGITAL LAB was founded in 2026 in Wyoming, and works from Niš, Serbia. Before it, five years of production work: solar monitoring platforms and dating products at Kodiro, a real-estate broker portal and fitness platform at Naissus Tehnologije. Today the work is a mix of client products and our own: Sparkle, a private realtime chat product, and AI features that have to be defensible — retrieval with citations, permission checks, an evaluation loop before any change ships.
What clients can expect
A fixed scope before code, honest estimates, and something that runs at every milestone. Small number of moving parts, boring infrastructure, and the interesting complexity in the product rather than in the plumbing. If something in a system is wrong, we say so early — it is cheaper for everyone.
Where to look
The profile is at goodfirms.co/company/aura-digital-lab-llc. If you have worked with us and want to leave a review there, it helps more than a testimonial sent by email. If you are evaluating us, the case studies on our work page have the technical detail the directory summary cannot hold.
